I didn’t always plan on becoming a barber—but life has a way of showing you your path. After shaving my head for brain surgery and going through chemo and radiation, I started paying a lot more attention to hair. As I attempted to grow mine back, I realized how hard it was to find a place that felt welcoming, clean, and capable of handling what I needed. That experience stuck with me.

Traditional school wasn’t in the cards for me post-treatment, especially with the memory loss that came from chemo. So I explored trade options and started interning everywhere I could—a women’s salon, a spa, a barbershop. The second I stepped into the barbershop, I knew I was home. The music, the conversations, the pace, the precision—I loved all of it.

Eight years, 1500 hours of barber school, and a state board test later, I launched my barber career. And when I couldn’t find a shop that matched my standards—clean, consistent, inclusive, and stocked with high-quality grooming products—I built one. That’s how Top Notch Barbershop & Co. came to life.

My favorite cut? A flattop—there’s nothing like the precision and focus it takes to get it just right. But I also love the calm of a straight razor shave and the chaos (in a good way) of kids’ cuts.

Outside the shop, I’m usually hanging with my cat, working on art projects, collecting tattoos, or counting down to Halloween.

I’m No Hair Nat, proud owner of Top Notch Barbershop & Co., where we keep it clean, classic, and always top notch.

What started as a hobby back in 2012 turned into a full-blown passion—and now, more than 8 years licensed and counting, I’m still loving every minute behind the chair.

I grew up in a salon, so the rhythm of clippers and conversations has always felt like home. The barbershop just hits different though—there’s a vibe, an energy, a story with every client. No two visits are ever the same, and that’s what keeps it fresh for me.

I’m all about clean fades and sharp detail—precision is my thing. Some call me a fade master. I just say, no bad hair days on my watch.

Outside the shop, I’m a proud dad, a certified Steelers fanatic, and my corgi runs the household.

Pull up, take a seat—I’ve got you.

I didn’t grow up going to the barbershop—didn’t even have a regular barber. But once I got introduced to the craft, everything clicked. Big shoutout to Diego for pushing me to pick up the clippers and trust the process.

I’ve been cutting for about a year and a half now, and what I love most is that this job is part art, part connection. Every cut is a chance to get creative, dial in my craft, and meet someone new I might not have crossed paths with otherwise.

Skin fades are my go-to—I love the detail, the transformation, the clean finish. But more than that, I enjoy the conversations, hearing people’s stories, and building trust one cut at a time.

When I’m not in the shop, you’ll catch me at Disneyland, checking out new ink, or hanging with animals—basically living my best life.

Let’s chop it up.

Cutting hair has been a dream of mine since I was a kid. I was always paying attention to people’s styles and the way a good haircut could completely change someone’s vibe. Now that I’ve finally had the chance to go all in, it feels like I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.

I’ve been cutting for about 7 months and every day I’m working to sharpen my skills, especially in precision and shear work. I’ve got a love for traditional gentlemen’s cuts—clean, classic, timeless.

But what really gets me stoked is the connection. My background’s in customer service, so making people feel good, confident, and taken care of—that’s the most rewarding part of the job. It’s about more than just the cut—it’s about the trust we build.

Outside the shop, I’m all about family, gaming, building things with my hands, and hitting the road on my motorcycle when I get the chance.

Let’s create a look that feels like you—pulled together and top notch.

I started cutting hair during COVID—first on myself, then on everyone around me. Two years later, I’m still at it and leveling up every day.

For me, it’s all about making people feel good. There’s something powerful about walking out of the shop with a fresh cut and your head held high. That confidence? That’s what I’m here for.

My specialty? High skin tapers and clean designs. I’m all about those sharp details that set your look apart.

When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll find me cruising down the PCH on my Dyna Superglide—good vibes, open road, and wind therapy.

Come through—let’s get you looking top notch.
